Quality Of True Love

QUALITIES OF TRUE LOVE
Apostle Paul listed qualities of true love in 1st Corinthians 13:4-7, love is patient and kind, It does not envy, boast, if is not proud, it is no rude, it is not self- seeking, it is not easily angered. It keeps no records of wrongs.

Love does not delight in iniquity but rejoice with the truth. It always  protects, trusts, hopes perseveres note this and use them to test your love affair.

1.      LOVE IS PATIENT:- To be patient means to suffer delay, pain, irritation unmet expectation, etc. quietly and without complaining. Is your love boy or girl ready to be patient with you?  Is he or she full of complains and anger with your mistakes. True love are patient with each other.

2.      LOVE IS KIND:- To be kind means to be ready. Willing and anxious to do good to others. Is your so called lover or potential lover kind to you and other? If he is only kind to you but bad to others he or she is a pretender he or she will turn against your later.

3.      IT DOES NOT ENVY:- To be envy means to have a feeling of discontent at another persons good for turn and success. Anybody who truly love you will not be envious of you on matter your success, even if you are more successful than him. If he or she hates it when you succeed, move forward or prosper, he or she is not in love with you.

4.      IT DOES NOT BOAST: To boast means to us words in talking about something, about oneself. When a guy or lady is boastful whenever he or she is with you. It simply means he or she has something to hide or wants to portray himself or herself to be the person he or she is not so that  he or she may get what he or she does not deserve from you.

5.      IT IS NOT PROUD:- To be proud means to have high opinion about oneself, to be puff up, to be cocky conceited and over-confident. True love is not proud. He or she is not on the pinnacle of the temple, he or she is humble and meek. If he is proud, talk only about himself believes only in himself, he or she believes he or she is more clever, skillful or more beautiful than anybody, then run away from that person.

6.      IT IS NOT RUDE:- To be rude means spell or behave in a way that is not polite and is likely to offend or annoy people.
Don’t ever thank that a person who is and impolite to you or to other in your presence is in love with you.

True love is not rude. If he or she is frond of talking to you rudely, embarrassing you in the public, shouting down at you, treating you as if you are no body, but still tell you ‘’ I love you’’ don’t believe it.

7.      IT IS NOT SELF-SEEKING:- True love is not selfish, not self-centered but selfless, not I’’ me’’ mine’’ myself’’ but about ‘’you’’ about’’ we’’ us’’ and’’ our’’. It does not give room for self-glorification, self-praise, self-justification, self-conceit, self-judgment and stinginess. If all he talks about is himself, if nothing goes except it favour’s him or her don’t marry him or her.

8.      IT IS NOT EASILY ANGERED:- If he or she easily get angry with you don’t ever believe he or she truly love you. If he truly loves you, kindness and meekness will over whelm him or her actions and reaction to you.

9.      IT KEEPS NO RECORDS OF WRONG:- Does he have a diary where he keeps your offences? She can’t just stop talking about your past mistakes? Watch your back, you have not found a lover. True love keeps no record of offences.

10.    IT DOES NOT DELIGH IN INIQUITY:- Is your lover a child of God? Does he or she love the Lord? Does he rejoice in purity, or his or her joy is in sexual immorality? If his joy is about pre-marital sex, I doubt whether he loves you. Maybe all he what is sex; he doesn’t really want to take you to altar; maybe all he want is taking you to bed.

11.    BUT REJOICE IN TRUTH:- Does he tell the true? Is she honest? Does he rejoice in the truth? If you have seen him or her lie to others he or she may be deceiving you too. True love rejoice in truth.

12.    IT ALWAYS PROTECTS:- Is he or she read to protect you or is he or she the one who reports you to anybody who care to listen when you offend him. True love defends and protects.

13.    ALWAYS TRUST:- It is possible to trust somebody you don’t really love, but it is almost impossible to truly love somebody you don’t truly trust if he or she does not trust you, he or she may be full of envy

and insecurity. This will be dangerous for your future life, marry only somebody who terst you enough to believe in you that is the person who loves you.

14.    ALWAYS HOPES:- To hope means to be in state of feeling, that what you want, think plans and expectation will come. Does he or she trust you enough to believe in you that you will not disappoint? Is he or she full of fear to the extent that he or she double dates.
Saying he is afraid you may drop him or her. It will be totally wrong to marry somebody who does not have hope in God and in you.

15.    ALWAYS PERSEVERS:- To persevere mean to continue to do something in spite of the difficulties involved.

MOST MODERN LOVERS ARE FAIR WEATHER FRIENDS.
They stay with you when things work well; but abscond in time of challenges. True lovers are know to stay with each other in times of difficulties, they are anchors to each other in time of storm. Don’t ever marry anybody who only loves to see you in a “glittering gown” but hates you whom you wear a “work overall”.
