You want to know the one that moved me to tears about my characters? There are characters I’d played in movies and after watching them back at home, I just thanked God it wasn’t me- it was a character.
Nearly all the movies where I played wicked roles made me cry because I remember what that character had done to somebody. I do these jobs to the best of my knowledge because I want to sit down at home, watch and cry over what I’m doing to people.
There was a movie I did many years ago, it was titled Prophecy- what moved me to tears in that movie was that I was so wicked that I seized feeding bottle from the mouth of a new-born baby who lost his mother and I was supposed to be taking care of the baby. The baby was crying, I seized his feeding bottle and threw it away. I wept profusely, the director stopped shooting until I was able to control
myself. Then I summoned courage to continue. If someone had done it in real life, I would There was another one where I went to take my sister’s daughter from the village, what I did to the girl, if any human being can do it to a fellow human being, I don’t know what God would do to that person in turn.
I met her in the kitchen, beat her so much that she fell down the stairs, rolled down and died from broken head and pains all over. I’d been playing wicked roles but those two movies are exceptionally horrible. I doubt that any human being would do that to anyone.

Oh, he was a mechanical engineer, he was a civil servant in Enugu, he was sick for a long time, for more than 15 years and he died, he passed on in 2002

Popular poet mocks Nigerian judges in new poem

For those who do not know, Professor Niyi Osundare is a prolific poet, dramatist and literary critic. According to Wikipedia, he is also renowned for his commitment to socially relevant art and artistic activism.

 

A recipient of the Nigerian National Merit Award (NNMA) for academic excellence in 2014, his poem about the hypocrisy of Nigerian judges and corruption in Nigeria recently went viral for the right reasons.

 Do I drop it in your venerable chambers

Or carry the heavy booty to your immaculate mansion

 Shall I bury it in the capacious water tank In your well laundered backyard

5. Flirting with other guys

The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Flirting with another guy to make your guy jealous or for any reason conveys a different message to the guy. SO, unless you want to the guy to back off, respect yourself and appreciate what you have.

6. Gossiping

  Gossiping just shows immaturity and it is very unattractive when done is a silly way. It’s really not okay to judge anyone and doing it all the time, being petty about it will just send the guy packing.

7. Being too desperate

Don’t be the girl described as “the thirst is real”. If he wants you, you will know, If he wants you and he is not doing anything about it, don’t help him out. You can flash a green light but never beg for his attention or overdo yourself so he can finally make a move.

8. Nagging

When he asks how much longer he has to wait, they shorten the time instinctively when they know by that time, there’s no way they will ever be ready. It’s just a white lie to give him false hope.

3. “No, I didn't tell my friend about it”

Women talk. They talk to their parents, friends and siblings to an extent. In marriages, they tend to be more tight-lipped but if they have a big problem with you, rather than go to a counselor or something, they will tell their friends. Plus, if you do something nice or something spectacular in bed, they will be inclined to share how great you are. They may not give full details but they will summarize. And when he ask them if they talk, they will say no, so you don’t realize you are practically married to them and their friends.

 4. “You’re right”

Right ke? You are never right, we always are. But sometimes, your husband needs to feel like a man and you don’t know better than him so to pamper his ego, you will apologize or say he was right. This will make him feel great about himself and will save you the stress of arguing with him. Plus deep down she will know she is right so she too will feel good.

The Nollywood industry has suffered yet another loss as the president of the Nigerian Guild of Cinematographers Prince Afam Chiazor dies.

 Prince Afam as he is fondly known died while on set shooting a movie on Friday, October 21, 2016, just a day to his birthday.

 Many of his colleagues who were unaware of his death took to his social media timeline and wished him happy birthday only to hear the news of his death later.
